Sourcing all the ingredients to make kimchi can be daunting. However, with our kit all you need are the vegetables, salt, and water. There is no maintenance of cultures as the bacteria responsible for fermentation occur naturally on the vegetables you use. Sweet and moderately spicy, this kimchi will knock your socks off! Its full, round flavors don’t get hidden by the spice one bit!

Our child tester’s response to this went something like this:

Her: did you put chile in this?

Us: Yep! Do you like it?

Her: NO! It’s hot hot hot!

And then she ran away, lest we attempt to give her a second taste, for a resounding (but too hurried to show thumbs) TWO THUMBS DOWN! Later, she told us the flavor was good but too much chile, so your kids may like this if they’re used to spice.
