UPDATE: KID APPROVED!

Child Tester has been anti-kimchi for some time, but recently tasted it as part of the fermented cabbages mixture I put in our non-traditional colcannon. I have never heard her love colcannon as much as she loved this one, Raved, and raved, and raved. When I told her there was kimchi in it, she immediately reversed her stance, waving TWO THUMBS UP!! She also was impressed by her chile tolerance, bc she hadn’t thought it very spicy.

KID DISAPPROVED!!

Our child tester wasn’t even willing to entertain the idea of a spicier kimchi than the regular one, because she said she already knew it’d be too spicy for her. TWO THUMBS DOWN!
