Our child tester checked this starter out in rye pancakes. She was not a fan, despite finishing the pancake she’d started per our request. She said, in terms of qualitative feedback, “these pancakes aren’t right!” so we’re still not sure if she doesn’t like the starter or just isn’t cool with non-wheat pancakes.
